Trust in the Lord in the morning,
when the sun rises in the sky.
Trust in the Lord in the evening,
as the darkness passes by.
He has set a path for you,
and knows your every move,
even though we stray from him,
of us he will never disapprove.
When you feel lost and confused,
and nothing seems to be right,
put all your trust in him who made you,
and he will save you from your fright.
Always remember the Lord is with you,
in the good times and the bad.
He will always love and care for you,
when you’re happy or you’re sad.
Lord, you are an awesome God,
you are with us all the time!
in you we will put all our trust,
and our lives will start to shine!
CANDLE OF PRAYER
God of all creation
be with each one of us,
as growth, creativity and healing,
as light and wisdom.
Spirit of the living God
live within our community,
giving courage to dispel fear and resolve conflict,
giving fire to inflame with love.
Spirit of peace
dwell with us so that we may
know your presence in silences and stillness,
know your vision for your people

Luke 10: 25-37 (page 68) with
When I needed a neighbour were you there
When I needed a neighbour,
were you there, were you there?
When I needed a neighbour,
were you there?
And the creed and the colour
and the name won’t matter,
were you there?
I was hungry and thirsty,
were you there, were you there?
I was hungry and thirsty,
were you there.
I was cold, I was naked,
were you there, were you there?
I was cold, I was naked,
were you there?
When I needed a shelter,
were you there, were you there?
When I needed a shelter,
were you there?
When I needed a healer,
were you there, were you there?
When I needed a healer,
were you there?
When they put me in prison,
Were you there, were you there
When they put me in prison ,
were you there?
Wherever you travel,
I‘ll be there, I’ll be there
Wherever you travel,
I‘ll be there

KIDZ CAFÉ
THE NEIGHBOUR WE WILL ALLOW
AN AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
Beckoning Christ,
you call us out of our comfortable ghetto
of ‘us’ and ‘them’
to risk discipleship without walls.
You call us into a world-wide fellowship
where God is worshipped above all other.
You call us into a world-wide fellowship
where prayer is offered day and night
You call us into a world-wide fellowship
where we can share what we are
with others who love you.
You call us into a world-wide fellowship
where each person has something to give to the whole.
You call us into a world wide-fellowship
where compassion and respect
shape missionary endeavour.
Keep on beckoning us out of our safe havens
into your rich fellowship of challenge
and reconciliation, faith and hope.

SONG
God is our strength and refuge,
our present help in trouble;
and we therefore will not fear,
though the earth should change!
Though mountains shake and tremble,
though swirling floods are raging,
God the Lord of hosts is with us evermore!
There is a flowing river,
within God’s holy city;
God is in the midst of her-
she shall not be moved!
God’s help is swiftly given,
thrones vanish at his presence-
God the Lord of hosts is with us evermore!
Come, see the works of our maker,
learn of his deeds all-powerful;
wars will cease across the world
when he shatters the spear!
Be still and know your creator,
uplift him in the nations –
God the Lord of hosts is with us evermore!

THE FAITH TO TRUST
SONG
I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard my people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin
my hand will save.
I who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear my light to them
Whom shall I send?
Here I am Lord . Is it I Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go Lord, if you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.
I, the Lord of snow and rain,
I have borne my people’s pain.
I have wept for love of them.
They turn away.
I will break their hearts of stone,
give them hearts for love alone.
I will speak my word to them.
Whom shall I send?
I, the Lord of wind and flame,
I will tend the poor and lame.
I will set a feast for them.
My hand will save.
Finest bread I will provide
till their hearts be satisfied.
I will give my life to them.
Whom shall I send?
